Wed December 3rd, Wed 10th
7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This will be a series of talks, discussions and meditations on two central themes of Buddhism.
The Buddha declared each of us has the potential to overcome all suffering. Few seem to have confidence in that as a possibility, and we instead seek temporary pleasures and accept the sufferings of birth, old age, sickness and death as inevitable. Building such confidence is rooted in examination of our individual experience. There is guidance that has been tested for centuries and that we ourselves can test to help us in that endeavour
Learning about karma, a greatly misunderstood term, is essential in order to create the conditions that will enable us to fulfil this innate potential.
